What is Adderall?

                          Adderall is a central nervous system stimulant that is used for the treatment of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) and narcolepsy It contains two drugs amphetamine and narcolepsy

The drug works by increasing the amount of dopamine and norepinephrine in the brain. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter that helps control movement and emotional response, and norepinephrine is responsible for activating the body’s “fight or flight” response.

Types of Adderall

   Adderall oral tablets, which are an immediate release (IR)* form of the drug.

Adderall XR oral capsule, which is an extended-release (ER)*form of the drug. 

Immediate release (IR) means the drug is released into your body immediately after a dose. Extended-release (ER) means the drug is released into your body gradually. Adderall helps increase the availability of a chemical in the brain called Dopamine. Immediate release can be given every four to six hours and extended release once a day, lasting around 10 to 12 hours. These both are available as generic medications. Adderall is a schedule-controlled substance in the United state which means you need to have a hand-signed prescription.  

 How does Adderall work?

                       Tow central nervous system stimulants that increase dopamine and norepinephrine levels in the brain attention, and concentration level and decrease impulsivity Take this medicine orally with or without food, generally one to three times daily as advised by your doctor. The first dose is usually taken when you wake up in the morning.

Adderall and Concerta are very similar medications. They also have similar side effects and interactions. Both medicines can cause psychological and. physical dependence and can be misused. (Drug misuse called abuse)




     Adderall effects on an empty stomach?

When a drug’s absorption is significantly affected by food intake it is usually said that it is best taken either one hour before or two hours after a meal, weight loss, stunted growth .in youngsters and potential issues from high blood pressure are all possible side effects of Adderall. These adverse effects typically subside when you stop taking the medication. after taking this medicine we should drink more water and meal because it would lose weight.

     Tips and advice for taking Adderall

The size of taking Adderall is not one. Some people take an Adderall higher dose than others to achieve the desired effect. So, you always take your medication according to your doctor’s advice. Adderall should not take in an empty stomach especially if your first dose because it potentially side effects your stomach. You should take some snacks or meals. When you take this medication you feel some changes in your behavior. So you are always in contact with your doctor.
